Someone book me a room (Part 217 & 218)...

Chapter 8, Page 4...

Tuesday morning I was not functional at work.  My mind was somewhere else.  It took 24 ounces of Rutters coffee and a cup of tea at work to just get going.  It was crazy.  The day itself wasn't all that bad, but I just couldn't get focused.  At this point in time, I'm not gonna lie, I really don't remember what else I did Tuesday.  I know was online.  I know read some.  I know I went to bed and read and then to sleep.  And honestly, that's about all I remember.

Chapter 8, Page 5...

Wednesday at work, I got things done that I needed to.  I was feeling slightly stressed because since two other people are on vacation now, there are aspects of their jobs I have to do, in addition to my job.  There are a few things I need to get done, for them, this week, and I haven't been able to do them yet.  I know I'll get them done, its just an issue of WHEN I'm going to be able to get them done.

Anyway, after work, I came home, changed my clothes and waited for Phoenix to arrive.  When he had, we talked for a bit and then left when we needed to.  We drove to the theater, got a VIP ticket, and since it was in the middle of the week, we got a free bag of popcorn, as well as free refills on the popcorn and sodas.  We didn't get any food anywhere because we had decided to just feast upon popcorn for supper.  And so we did.

The movie we watched was Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (which by they way makes no sense, as there is no rogue nation even mentioned in the movie).  There were plotholes large enough to drive a Mack Truck through, but I expected that going in.  So I'm not going to nitpick them all, although there were a LOT of them.  But I just went with it and ignored all the stupid things, dumbed down my mind and logic, and just watched it.  frankly, though, the previous Mission Impossible movie, the one where they're in the insanely high building in Dubai, was better than this one.

When it was over, Phoenix and I came back here, chatted shortly, and then he left.  I got online for a very short time, and then went to bed.
