Well i, found it's my life, down on all fives...

So, I know you all are thinking, what has Uncle Polt been up to recently. Well funny you should wonder, cause I'm gonna post about it now.

It's been two weeks since I was really sick with that flu, but i STILL have the crud and gunk in my chest and sinuses. I'm coughing up, blowing out snot all the time...and it's even less pleasant to experience it than it is to read about it. But at least I don't feel bad. So right now, it's just more of an inconvience than anything else.

I've talked to Don twice. We're trying to figure out an evening next week when I can go to his and Jim's place after work one night. For supper, and to meet thier dogs, and possibly other things.

I saw the second of Obama's political ads on TV today. I've seen his about 8 times, only saw Hillary's about 3 times. Guess that's what happens when you raise 40 million as opposed to 20 million dollars in one month.

I did my taxes today. State taxes came out even, as they always do, and I filed them over the phone. I'll be looking to get back a bit over $1100 from the Federal taxes, which is HUGE! I normally get back between $600-$800. I'm not sure why I'm getting the additional money back, but I did the form twice and came up with the same result, so it should be right. I'll be mailing that off tomorrow. My local taxes, I'll have to pay. A smidge under $400 dollars to them. But with my Feds, I'll still come out $700 ahead. Now I wish i wasn't such a procrastinator and had gotten them done earlier.

Since I spent last Saturday with my cousins watching a comedian, I missed the Dr. Who & Torchwood of last week. Luckily, BBC America shows an encore of the previous week's episode each week ahead of the new ones. So this past Saturday, I got to have a marathon of British SciFi: I watched two episodes of Dr. Who and then two episodes of Torchwood. I was in SciFi geek heaven.

Other than all that, life's been the same: sleep, work, blogging, downloading porn, eating, masturbating, reading, and then starting it all over again.
