Oh and the shit, shock, horror, you've seen...

First a Republican's gonna be sitting in Teddy's seat. Then Ping manages to somehow stay on Project Runway despite her saddlebags and ass flaps. And now THIS:

"According to a new research out of the UK, men who have frequent sex in their twenties and thirties were at a greater risk of developing prostate cancer later in life. What's even more unusual is that researchers showed that young men who masturbated frequently, as opposed to those who have sex frequently with a partner, were at an even greater risk of developing prostate cancer."

What more could go wrong? Will a meteor crash into the Atlanitc Ocean? Will the BBC shut down BBCAmerica? Will Lady GaGa reveal herself to be actually P!nk is disguise all this time? Will the Cloverfield moster drag us all to hell? WHAT ???

I don't buy it. I remember a study a few years back that noted that men who had frequent sex with men were less likely to get prostate cancer, since anal intercourse repeatedly massaged the prostate. Of course the benefits went to bottoms more often than tops. This research doesn't pinpoint gay men, anyway, and we all know straight men are unhealthier, overall, in diet and exercise then gay men.

Wow, seems you guys are screwed either way. Or not. LOL You shouldn't be anyway. So I guess the trick is for guys to have copious amounts of sex in their teens, then become totally celibate until they hit 40, then make up for lost time.

Hard to believe. I had always read that frequent sex and/or masturbation was good for prostate health. Certainly it's supposed to be good for avoiding prostatitis (something you don't want if you've never had it). If true, however, it's like some sort of cruel cosmic joke.

Tam -- your prescription doesn't really work. For it to work, a man would have to be not only celibate but also avoid masturbation during that period. That just .... aint gonna happen. :P
