Like a dog without a bone, an actor out on loan...

Get this. It seems the Republican National Committee is so worried about a blood bath in the Senate and the Democrats getting a filibuster proof 60 Senators in the Senate, that they're gonna take out a $5 million dollar loan to give the embattled Senate candidates in Georgia, Kentucky and Mississippi.

I got three things to say about this.

1) With the financial crisis and 'experts' saying that we might not be able to get loans for a new car, or for a student loan or for small businesses for their payroll, how in God's name is the RNC finding $5 million dollars to borrow for this? How many car loans, student loans and small business loans could we get out of $5 million? But instead, some lender is gonna loan it to them. Does this seem right?

2) If the RNC is borrowing money for Senate candidates, does that mean they're done helping McCain? You don't hear them taking out loans to help HIM in battleground states do you? What does this say about the state of the McCain campaign? And what does this say about what the RNC thinks of McCain's campaign?

3) It's the middle of October and the RNC is fighting for seats in Georgia, Mississippi, and Kentucky??? The last of which is Mitch McConnell, the Senate Minority leader??? How bad is the state of things for the Republicans that they STILL haven't squared away races in such solid Republican states as Georgia, Mississippi and Kentucky?

I really HONESTLY hesitate to get over-confident...hell even really confident yet, but these signs do NOT in my opinion bode well for the Republicans. Not that I'm complaining one bit, you understand.

Let's face it I have my hopes up that we can sweep the hard Republican states too. Time for a democratic senate and a democratic white house to whip things into shape.

Remember the Clinton years, a surplus economy.
