Found this great news today:
Connecticut Supreme Court Legalizes Gay Marriage
The Connecticut supreme court Friday issued a 4-3 decision in favor of eight gay couples who were the plaintiffs in Kerrigan and Mock v. the Connecticut Department of Public Health, effectively legalizing same-sex marriage in the state. Connecticut will now become the third state in the country behind Massachusetts and California where gay couples are allowed equal access to marriage. As in California and Massachusetts, out-of-state couples will be eligible to marry in Connecticut.
Anyone wanna lay odds on how many hours...or minutes, it takes the McCain campaign, probably through Palin, to try to make hay with this? I mean, it makes perfect sense from their line of thought: We have no worthwhile stand on the economy so we're getting clobbered, and we've tried to distract everyone with negative slimy stuff about Obama, which isn't working really well either, maybe we should run with this and bring out the inner homophobe in the voters!...I mean it worked for us in 2004, right?
I'm betting she'll have said something in time to make the 6:00 evening news broadcasts. just watch and see if I'm wrong...
