Whatever's more important to be...

So I see today, McCain kicked Pastor "Let's Destroy Islam" Paisley to the curb. And well he did. I wonder though, are people paying attention? This is two pastors that McCain had to get rid off, and that doesn't include abour 4 aides and campaign staff that have been let go because of their lobbying ties to dictators and other undesirables around the world.

Don't you think McCain could have picked a few less.....of I don't know, slimy people for his campaign staff?

Oh, and just as a reminder, yesterday, the Senate overwhelmingly, 75-22, voted FOR a GI Bill started by Senator Webb of Virginia. It will give GI's a full tuition to college after thier service. by the numbers, 75-22, you can see that roughly 25 Republicans voted FOR the bill. Senator Obama was in the Senate and voted FOR the bill. Senator Clinton was in the Senate and voted FOR the bill.

Senator McCain was in California for a fundraiser and didn't vote at all. But he had been against the bill because he thought it would have made too many soldiers leave the military to pursue college. So he would have voted against it, probably, except that he had fundraiser to attend.

I am in no way impugning Senator McCain's service to this country 40 odd years ago, but don'tcha think he maybe forgot where he came from? Putting the raising of campaign funds before the troops? Is this REALLY the position he wants to take?
