Let's see what's happened in the last few days....
1) Obama rejected Hillary's idea that he could be her VP...and rightly so. I mean, HE'S got more delegates so far, HE'S won more primaries, caususes, and therefore, states than she has, and HE'S got an easier shot, mathematically, to get the nomination than she does. Why isn't she, at this point in time, lobbying to be HIS VP?
2) Bushie vetoes the ban on waterboarding, and other torture methods, passed by the Congress. The Attorney General has stated, in Congressional testimony, that waterboarding IS torture. And now Bushie vetoes a bill that would have outlawed it. So that statement Bushie made a few months back that the USA does NOT torture, well I guess that was..um, what, just a LIE! We can add that one to the growing, stinking heap of lies piling up next to Bushie.
3) The NY Governor was caught involved in a prostitution sting. I don't live in NY, and I don't have any opinion really, one way or the other, on Elliot Spitzer. But I will say this: as long as Lousiana Senator Vitter, who's name and number was found in a DC madam's lil black book, is still in office; as long as Larry Craig, and we all know what he did, even AFTER he's pled guilty to it, gets to sit in his Senate seat, I don't think Spitzer should resign. I understand each of the situations is different, BUT is it okay for Senators to engage in illegal sexual activities, but not Governors? Or is it just okay for Republicans to do it and not Democrats?

Kerry may not have been the best candidate in 2004, but he certainly wasn't the worst candidate. The worst candidate won. - Polt
