Bits-N-Pieces
Today, I got a lovely piece of homemade art from one equally lovely Virginia! She had this thing on her blog where if you sent her a self addressed stamped envelope, she'd mail you a piece of art. (How bad did I feel that I didn't put enough postage on, and it cost her an additional 90 cents to sent to me?) I took a nifty picture of it, and if I could just figure out how to get photos from camera onto my laptop, I'd show it to you. However, since I can't, I'll just have to wait until I get a desktop, get it uploaded there, and then I can show it to you.

How does one person gather so much shit in 12 years? See the problems not just that I have so much shit, the problem is, I have no place to store the boxes-filled-with-shit once I get them all packed with shit. I've got a stack of role playing game book filled milkboxes sitting in the dining room. I've got tubs and boxes full of CD, video tapes, and DVDs in the the living room, leaving just one small path to the TV. I've got three garbage bags full of magazines I'm throwing out sitting in the hallway outside me door. I'm glad my friend came last night and picked up the four garbage bags full of pornos, that made things easier. And I've got three boxes of books and magazines I'm keeping the hallway that leads to the balcony.
I think the immesity of this moving project is just now revealing itself to me.

I do not watch Network TV, but that doesn't mean I don't watch TV. This weekend, I watched programs on the French Revolution, on The Tet Offensive, on a set of blind and deaf triplet girls, on other planets that may be earth-like in outer space, on traveling to Greece, and even a little bit of UFC fighting. But no network TV to be found. Thank the TV gods for The History Channel, History International, The National Geographic Channel, and other good cable channels.

I've gradually gotten used to using my laptop, but I still prefer a desktop. I prefer having my list of quotes, notebook of notes, and date book to track visits all right handy, as well as a pen and marker to use as well. Usually, they're on the top of my desk right before my monitor. Now, that I'm laptopping (?) on the sofa, I have to keep reaching to the coffee table. *SIGH* the trials and tribulations we all must go through.

And just so I can prove that I'm rebuilding my photos library, I give you four cute guys in their boxers.

It appears you were able to get some of your files off the old machine.
If you really can't hack the laptop thing I suggest you get a USB keyboard and mouse. Laptop already has a video port on it so just keep it plugged in. Then you can disconnect if you want to go mobile.
But really, I just suggest you use the laptop. Once you get fully used to it you'll wonder why you never made the switch earlier.
I have my laptop hooked up to a docking station so I can use a larger screen and normal keyboard/mouse. I just disconnect one plug when I take it with me.
I think we watched some of the same shows this weekend.
Can't you just email the picture from your phone to your email account? Just enter your email address instead of a phone number.
TUG, I took the photo with my camera not my phone. And even if I had, I don't have Internet access on my phone. It's a phone only. :)
