My day, Wednesday 25, 2009 (updated periodically throughout the day):
7:35am: Bloodwork went fine, just a little prick (and though I'm tempted to make some comment about preferring big pricks, I shall refrain).
8:15am: Breakfast at Denny's is delish.
8:30am: Arrived at work a half hour earlier than expected.
9:03am: Discovered that my poem was posted on Puntabulous. I blushed and smiled.
10:03am: Called insurance company, they had no paperwork from the electrician.
10:05 am: Called relator and left message that there was no paperwork at insruance company.
10:10am: Realtor called back. Told me she was at a listing, but when she left the office there was nothing there. Said she had just gotten off the phone with someone in her office, and the paperwork was there. Someone in her office was going to fax it to insurance company, and then she'd call them to make sure they got it when she got back in the office.
10:20am: Got call from insurance company that they had recieved paperwork and that it was sufficient for what they needed.
10:22am: Released a HUGE sigh of relief. Smiling like a fool now that THAT is over.
2:30pm: Left work
2:50pm: Got my weekly supply of comic books.
3:00pm: Picked up my prescriptions
3:24pm: Arrived at the insurance company, got the home insurance.
3:38pm: Arrived home, relieved that it all went well.
To be continued....

Told ya!
And you really can't beat a Denny's breakfast.
Yeah, I knew the paperwork would flow but go right down to the wire.
You'll be a homeowner soon. Like I said, accelerate the ever loving hell out of the mortgage. The average 30 years reduces to 12 to 15 years. And the interest/principle flips around 5 to 6 years in.
Bad for tax purposes but good for you after the fact because you build equity faster not to mention hold title with no lien that much faster.
Yay So glad everything is going smoothly now. Almost all the way there.
You're almost there. Buying a house is very stressful! And yeah, some of the paperwork is so very last minute!
