Today, I'm going for lunch with my friend and Toronto visiting companion Michelle, and then we're coming back here and she's going to help me with some packing. Actually, she's going to help me thrown things away.
See, I can't get rid of clothes on my own. I see them, and remember something that happened while I was wearing it, and sentimentality kicks in and then I want to keep it. I've told Michelle what I need her to do is each piece of clothing I pull out, ask me if I've worn it in the last two years. And if I say no, ask me if I plan on wearing it in the next six months. And if I say no, then I need her to insist, incessently, that I put it on the pile for donation to Goodwill. If I don't have her helping me, I'll never get rid of clothes.
Although, the surprising ease I've had getting rid of old porn magazines, and old porn movies, was unusual for me. Perhaps I'd be able to do the clothing thing on my own. But it certainly wouldn't be as much fun as with someone else, right?
UPDATE: So we had the buffet at Hoss's, enjoying the presence of blue eyed, perfect white teethed, dimples when he smiled, probably not legal, yet probably gay Brandon, who kept eyeing us up with furtive glances as we ate. And then we went to Wal-Mart, the Rita's to get some Swedish Fish tasting treats, and then back here. And after all the work here, I ended up with four big garbage bags of shirts and pants, as well as a smaller bag of shoes and underwear, for donation to the Goodwill. What a day!

Yay you!!! Yay Michelle!!! Did you tell her I saw Duff in the flesh? Well, through a car window? But we have a picture of his car. :-)
Keep up the great work, one of the advantages of moving is getting rid of all the superfluous stuff.
Good job on thinning out your wardrobe. Whenever I read about Michelle I get mad jellerz (yay joshspeak) that it's not me!
Be careful not to mix up your porn and clothes garbage bags...
We stopped and got Rita's yesterday. I got the Swedish Fish flavor. It was pretty good. I thought of you and talked about how you wrote about it on your blog.
About a month ago, I donated about two trash bags full of clothes. My dresser drawers close so easily now.
