Whelp, no HNT for me this week….

Hmm, ya know, I wonder what I’m gonna do with all the free time I’m gonna have since I’m not going to be spending hours online downloading porn? Whatever shall I do? Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise and I can get some serious packing done!

I’m rather sanguine over this whole computer thing now. I mean, I still have access to the Internet through my laptop, I still have access to the Palace, and my Yahoo, and Facebook accounts, and thanks to Flickr, I have access to a lot of the photos I had on there (although I didn’t move as many as I should have to Flickr…grrr…)

I am sad that I don’t have access to all those funny, sexy, thought provoking photos I had that I was gonna use to make posts on the Palace. I mean, I don’t miss the porn photos themselves, cause the Internet’s chock full of porn, but I miss that I won’t have them handy to post and comment about.

And actually, that’s possibly a good thing too. The blog was getting to be more a chore than a hobby. I was feeling some days like I HAD to get a photo post up, whether it was a weekly feature or the daily shirtless post or what have you. So it’ll be nice to have somewhat of a break from all that.

I do plan on getting another desktop, an inexpensive one. I’m old fashioned, I suppose, but I just don’t fell as comfortable with a laptop. Oh, it was great to have on the Toronto trip, and I’m DAMN glad I have it NOW, don’t get me wrong. But by an large, I just can’t seem to get adapted to it. Go figure.
And I plan on getting something I’d been talking about for years: and external harddrive. If I had purchased one, insread of just talking about it, then, all those important photos, and documents and iTunes files would be saved on there, and I wouldn’t have to worry about getting off this one with the defective disk, now would I? *SIGH* Guess I have to learn my lessons the hard way.

And I want to get them relatively soon, cause I’m pretty sure once I’m paying a mortgage, I’m not gonna have extra cash laying around to buy them then. I knew something would go wrong once I bought the house (which admittedly I haven’t done yet), and I hope this is it. I mean I was thinking like the water heater would blow up or the transmission would fall out of my car or something like that. But the computer going tits up is not as big a deal as that stuff, ya know?

Man, now I gotta think of some REAL topics to blog about again….
