Should have let me rest in Potter's Field...

Went this evening to see Harry Potter. I got in at 400, and saw there was a matinee (read, cheaper) starting at 435. So off I went. Had the entire theater to myself, kinda like a private viewing. My thoughts on it: definately darker than any of the other ones. Much more eye candy than any of the other ones. Despite still being in that awkward period, Ron is growing up nicely (course, then I DO have a penchant for both redheads and shaggy haired guys). Would have much prefered to have seen Cedric in the bath instead of Harry. Alan Rickman is one of THE best quasi-villianous charactere actors out there. Valdemort, truly evil. Krum, truly sexy. Neville Longbottom, no longer a total loser. Ron's twin brothers....well, the jury's still out on them. Malfoy does indeed look like the gay porn star Hunter, who's blog is located here. The story had a few plot holes in it (which would figure, since it was condensed from such a long book), but the special effects were entertaining.

The movie as a whole: thumbs up.
