See forever underneath a Michelangelo sky....

Everyone, I trust, has seen Michelangelo's David? I had the pleasure of seeing it in person back in 1984 when I was in Europe. It was a breathtaking statue, a beautiful work of art. A favorite sculpture of mine. So when I saw this photo, David is what I automatically thought of:
It reminds me so much of the statue...well, except for one part...the part that purpled over. But still, to my mind, this guy looks like he's been carved from marble. Just exquisite.
