Post from the road, part 4...

Geez, I go on vacation and the whole world goes to hell! Bea Arthur dies, a worldwide pandemic breaks out in Mexico....can't you people keep things together for one single week without me???

So, anyway, today we got up early, 8:30 (hey, that's early for us on a Sunday AND while we're on vacation to boot!). Went with Tam to the breakfast buffet at the Golden Griddle. Then, Tam drove us to Casa Loma. I was last there perhaps ten years ago or so. But it's stil magnificent! Michelle kinda meandered off on her own, but Tam and I walked through it together. Even though we had both been there before, we were exploring it like we were seeing for the last time.

Following this, we said goodbye to Tam, with big hugs all around. She drove off north, Michelle and I walked south, back to the hotel, which according to Mapquest is about 2.5 miles. Once we got here, Michelle put on her bathing suit and went to investigate the pool, which is she said she had mostly to herself and where she had fun.

I went out to check out the scene. The tally now stands at 10, with the last one being by far the best so far. And 6 of tallies are Asians...I do SO love this town.

I returned to the room, Michelle was in the shower. When she got out, we hung out here for about a half hour before we both fell asleep. For like 2 hours. We have been on the go pretty much since we got here, and both needed the rest. My cute Asian friend I know from up here, Ed, was supposed to go with us to Remingtons tonight (it's ladies night, so Michelle can go too), but he called and said he couldn't. And it's a good thing, cause Michelle and I are so tired, neither of us feel like going out anywhere. We just went across the street to Mr. Sub to get sandwiches, and 7-11 for soda and chips, came back here and ate watching Simpsons and Family Guy.

We've been having such a great time, we've decided to stay an extra day. We got the room for another day, I called in to work and took another day off work, Michelle already had that day off, so we'll have another full day in Toronto Tuesday!

Weather's been a little nutty. Yesterday was probably 80's, sunny (hence my sunburn), and then rain later in the day. Today, was like 40's, windy, cold. Tomorrow's supposed to be back up into the 80's. Tuesday's supposed to be rain all day. No consistency, not that it matters though, cause bad weather in Toronto is still awesome, cause you're in Toronto!!!!

Everyone stay healthy and avoid that killer flu they keep talking about! Post atcha soon...

The "scene"? Is this a euphemism for craigslist? 10 is pretty impressive.
