The landscape is changing, the landscape is crying..

Just finished, not too long ago, another book: Bending The Landscape.

It's a compilation of horror stories written about, and I guess by, gay and lesbian writers. As with any complilation, some stories are good, others are...less good. A few stick with you. The last one Passing by Mark W. Tiedemann, which is about a time in the not too distance future where America is a theocracy, and it's a crime to be gay or lesbian, and homosexuals are summarily executed when found. It's particularly scary considering the enviornment in America today.

On the whole, the book was rather uneven. I don't think I'd recommend it, even though some of the stories are particularly interesting. Simply becuase it's tiresome to trek through all the drivel to get to the good stuff. But if you're interested in gay horror fiction, then certainly check it out.
