It's BIDEN!

Thank God. I was less than thrilled with any of the other candidates. And Biden can now be Obama's attack dog. Obama appears uncomfortable going on the attack, Biden's never been uncomfortable doing that. Let him loose, let him start tearing into the tissue-paper thin "issues" that the McCain campaign supposedly has on their side.

Now, let's get to the convention and get this presidential campaign rolling, rolling straight into the White House in on January 20, 2009!

As soon as I heard this morning, I raced over here to see what you thought. I think it's a good choice too. Definitely strengthens the ticket and counters McCain's "war experience." (Like Biden said, war experience doesn't equate to wisdom in war.)

I don't know all that much about Biden, so I guess I'll have to start doing some checking so I can form an educated political opinion about the guy.

But some of the real issue is getting those Hillary supporters to support the ticket. I heard on NPR that as many as 25% of those that voted for Hillary in the primaries are leaning toward McCain and there are many that are still undecided.

I'm just worried that together Obama and Biden will seem too "slick" for middle America. IDK. Then again, Obama wasn't my first (or second) choice in the primaries, so perhaps I'm still ticked about my candidate(s) not making the grade.

Although Obama wasn't my first choice, I'll still support and vote for him, because the alternative is too awful to contemplate. In fact, I just got my Obama '08 sticker - though will I get forced off the road in S.C. with that sticker? lol

Dave S.: Depending on how Hillary is at the convention, it might just ease the concerns of her supporters. And plus, I cannot believe that someone that would be a fierce supporter of Hillary would then turn around and vote FOR McCain, thus virtually ensuring Roe is overturned in the next 4 years.

Bunny: I waited to get an Obama sticker until he had his VP so now I can go get an Obama/Biden sticker. And even though I'm in traditionally blue PA, I'm in one of the reddest parts of it, so I might get knocked off the road as well. :)

Biden is a great choice and you are right he is just the attack dog Obama needs. I cannot wait!
